Chinese Zodiac Signs
On the last day of spring term, Class 2 completed their geography topic about China.
Class 2 created these Chinese Zodiac plaques using lolly sticks, glue, red paint and card. Once they’d made their signs, the children used black marker pens to write the symbols of the different signs of the Chinese Zodiac onto the plaques, such as Tiger or Rabbit. They did this using the traditional Chinese characters that they’d learnt throughout the topic.
Once the signs were completed and dry, Class 2 attached ribbon to the plaques so they could be hung up decoratively to showcase their new learning and artistic skills.
