
Aberford C of E Primary School – Uniform Guide
At Aberford, we ask all pupils to wear school uniform at school and for school-organised events. Wearing uniform helps children feel part of our community, promotes equality and supports positive behaviour.
Everyday Uniform:

Red jumper, cardigan, or sweatshirt (with or without school logo)

White polo shirt (with or without school logo)

Grey trousers, tailored shorts, skirts or pinafore dress

Red and white gingham summer dress

Sensible black shoes (plain black trainers allowed; no patterns or heels)

Black, white or grey socks or tights (leggings under skirts/dresses in cold weather)
PE Kit:

White or black t-shirt (with or without logo)

Black shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms

Trainers or pumps
-
Black tracksuit top (avoid branded logos)
Swimming:
-
One-piece costume or trunks/swimming shorts (above the knee)

Towel

Long hair tied back; swimming cap recommended

Jewellery must be removed
Tips for Parents:

Label all clothing and PE kit to avoid lost items.

Temporary uniform exceptions should be communicated to the school.

Makeup is not allowed; jewellery is limited to single ear studs, watches, and medical ID bracelets.

Long hair should be tied back for hygiene and safety.
Most uniform items are easy to find in supermarkets or high-street shops. Branded items are available from the SPT Uniform Shop, Main Street, Garforth.
