Walking Home
Many of our families live locally and walk to school and home from school each day. Please let us know if anyone other than yourself will be collecting your child so that we can keep our records up to date.
As children grow older, we recognise the need to foster more independence to help them start to be ready for the move to high school. With this in mind, many of our older children, in years 5 and 6, have permission to walk home alone once their parents feel that they are ready to do so. Our Walking Home Policy details what you need to you if your child is in Class 4 and you feel that they are ready to do so.
