Evolution and Inheritance
Class 4's new Science topic launched today. We started with a game of 'Human Guess Who' which we all really enjoyed. The purpose of the game was to highlight human characteristics and our unique features. This led to a discussion about inherited characteristics and environmental characteristics. We looked at some examples of both of these and had an interesting debate about some of the features!
We also investigated Hydrangeas which had been grown in different soil types. The different soil had affected the colour of the flowers.
We finished off our first lesson with an exploration into identical twins, considering inherited characteristics but also unique features!
