Class 2 Internet Safety Lesson
On Monday Class 2 were visited by Dave from d:side. He came to talk to us about keeping safe on the internet.
We looked at different safe web browsers, learnt about games that are appropriate for our age group and how to tell before playing. Also about being cautious when opening attachments and pop ups that might not be safe.
One of the main messages we learnt was that we should always ask permission from our parents, or a responsible adult, before going on the internet. They will advise us what we are allowed to watch or play.
We also learnt that not everyone on the internet is who they say they are and we should always keep our identity hidden from strangers by using a username online rather than our real name.
