Homework Hero
This week,Year 5 pupils have handed in some amazing homework. They have shown off their maths skills with a challenging Magic Square activity where they were required to insert values to ensure each row, column and diagonal all added up to the same value.
Do you think you could have solved the challenge?
The second task challenged the children to select from a list of 'Egyptian' based activities. This week, two homework tasks really stood out.
The first piece was by Anna. She chose to bake a cake, carve it into the shape of Tutankamun's tomb and then decorate it with
sparling gold icing, finishing it with detail using different coloured icing!
This was a wonderfully creative piece of work - plus it tasted delicious too!
The second homework hero this week is Ebony. She chose to construct a 3d model of a typical Egyptian house. Very creative and it is clear that you have put in a lot of hard work!
Keep an eye out for more wonderful homework pieces on Class 4's gallery!!
