Homework Hero - Week 2

This week the standard of homework in Class 3 has being amazing again! The children have created more Roman shields, found interesting facts, wrote beautiful poetry and much more...

Poppy

has once again completed two fantastic pieces of homework. Firstly, she went on a plant hunt in the garden and took photos of the different plants/ flowers she found in the garden. She then identified each one and labelled them in her homework book. For her second piece of homework, Poppy sketched and completed the other half of Julius Caesar's face and did an amazing job of keeping it in proportion and looking realistic. Well done Poppy, a well-deserved homework hero.

Beth

also brought two excellent pieces of homework in this week. She shared her 'Five Funky Farm Facts' with us about animals and included some beautiful pictures of her with them. Beth then created a lovely new shield design which is related to our 'Roman's' topic. Well done Beth, both pieces of homework were amazing!

Caden

has completed some fantastic homework this week, using his imagination to design and write a postcard from a trip to Rome, including some of the sites he had seen their such as the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. Caden then successfully drew and labelled the key parts of a plant before finally designing and creating his very own Roman shield. Well done Caden, we are so proud of your homework efforts this week.

Evie D

also created two super pieces of homework, for the first task she completed a brilliant personification poem about a garden and presented it beautifully. She then also drew half of Julius Caesar's face and did a fantastic job of keeping it looking realistic and detailed, I like your shading too! Good work Evie!
