Stop-motion animations!

Class 3 had great fun this morning in Junior Jam, creating stop-motion animations. Stop-motion animations are animations that are captured one frame at a time, with physical objects that are moved between frames. When you play back the sequence of images rapidly, it creates the illusion of movement. We identified that we see stop-motion animations all the time; in commercials, music videos, television shows and films.

We started off practicing our stop-motion techniques with one piece of lego then advanced to using other classroom objects and toy cars. Take a look below at some of our work! What do you think of our stop-motion animation clips?
